‘Men On The Hill’, my newest novel launched in June, is already attracting a lot of media and industry attention in the Lake District where the novel is set.

Eden FM Radio ran a quiz soon after the launch and Ellen was first with the answer via email (on oliver@oliverecadam.com) and by now she should have received a signed copy of the new book. Then the North West Evening Mail in Barrow ran a fabulous piece in their paper (try http://tinyurl.com/yb5orfpk ) and Waterstones Kendal offered a neat review via the Westmorland Gazette – naturally the book is available via Waterstones (see ‘where to buy’ tab on this website).

For those readers who hold the English Lake District close to their hearts you may be forgiven for thinking, when prompted, of nothing but the region’s beautiful terrain and the quiet pace of life there. But then you’d be making exactly the same mistake as DCI David Lehrer who has moved north for a quiet life, hoping to get the boots on more often than he ever did down south. He (and you) are in for a rude awakening……the damp Cumbrian grass isn’t always greener…….

This is a crime thriller, a murder mystery, which will keep you guessing till the end, and maybe even beyond!
